Away to Mars is an online clothing community with offices in London and Lisbon. The company brings people with ideas and designers together to develop new styles. To make this happen, Away to Mars works with a world wide 'crowd'.

Everyone with a good idea is invited to share it on the website. The idea for a design is brought (digitally) to life by a technical design team. The end result is then presented to the crowd and - when demand is big enough - the product will be produced and sold online. The idea behind Away to Mars is that both clients and designers are trend setters; they turn the conventional system around. It's not the designer who decides what will be 'on trend'; it's the end-consumer. A perfect example of system-change.
